LA's Apartment Therapy

If you haven't had a chance to checkout Apartment Therapy you should definitely have a look. There's a wealth of information on cool interiors, new products, services and we particularly love the features on homes, up close and personal (be sure to check out the 'Top House Tours'). Jack Cards was delighted to be featured in the LA edition (thank you Richele) and we can definitely empathize with the mid year rush to find the time to get organized. Jack Cards: The Wall Street Journal

Jack Cards was reviewed by the Mossberg Solution in the The Wall Street Journal today, written by Katherine Boehret.

Katherine Boehret tested the Jack Cards service and site, signing up and even purchasing some cards.  We were so happy to hear that Katherine thinks that "even the hippest e-cards...are no match for paper cards with thoughtfully penned sentiments."  Katherine noted that "...the cards looked even better in person, created by about 40 designers who left me both scratching my head over some of their humor and cooing over their beautiful designs....The weight and quality of the cards, along with their artistic attributes, made them feel more special than something that has been picked up from a shelf and opened by a hundred passersby."

We're busily working on Jack Cards v2.o which will incorporate Katherine's suggestions and more, we'll keep you updated on our progress!

In the meantime we'd love to hear what you think of the article and if you have any further suggestions, ideas, thoughts for us!  We're all ears!

Have You Heard Of Thrillist?

There are a number of great websites out there delivering fantastic services and products to edgy consumers and Thrillist is one of them. Like Daily Candy, Thrillist is all about discovering the new and the innovative but unlike Daily Candy, it's audience is predominately male. We loved the cheeky introduction to Jack Cards "Handwritten cards let the special people in your life know you haven't forgotten them, even if you're working on it...".
